The Cooper is the name of this delicious drink. We had the NY strip and the porterhouse. Absolutely deliciously seasoned and perfectly cooked. We had the greatest waiter too. All the makings for a great evening.

This place is awesome, perfect for a date night or a small gathering with friends! You honestly can’t go wrong with anything on the menu, the pork chop is 10/10. Great drinks and a cozy atmosphere that makes the setting feel more intimate. Chef Mike is one of the best in Nash and will give you such a positive experience if you go sit at the bar that overlooks the grill. Will be coming back!!

Warm but lively. Tight service hitting high standards. Deep bourbon menu, craft cocktails and high quality off the path wines. Grenache over cab! The fire broiled New York strip was the best thing I’ve had in a while. My wife loved the corn ribs, beets and homemade focaccia. We will see you soon!

We ordered, tartar, mussels, Brussels, corn ribs, and the pork chop. Each one was uniquely distinct and delicious but it didn't taste like a cohesive meal. We kept comparing it to the judges table on Top Chef, each item individually was delicious but together it was a little disjointed. I would have loved a chef's tasting menu to get a series of flavors built by an expert chef instead of us just picking randomly. Overall, great flavors and we will be back!

This was a pleasant surprise! We went as a last minute decision and it was perfect. We will definitely be back. We got the focaccia, whipped feta, corn ribs, broccolini, rib eye, and the pork chop. All the share plates were so good.

We came for our first time and had an incredible experience! We stopped in right before the big dinner rush and the atmosphere was inviting! Our server Ian was incredibly attentive and very personable. The food was fantastic! Our favorite item on the menu was the phyllo, feta, fermented honey dish, it has a little kick, but was one of the most unique dishes I’ve had in a while! We also enjoyed the baked oyster and the kale/broccoli dish. Our entrees were the strip steak and the salmon that were both delightful! We would highly recommend Pelican & Pig and will be returning soon!

This place is a hidden gem. We stayed in East Nashville for a week and this was by far the best place we dined at. The server was so attentive, she noticed a fly on the window bothering me and killed it with a napkin. We ordered the cauliflower and kale salad to eat with our main dishes. For the entrees I ordered the heritage pork and my wife order the prime ny strip. The flavors on all the dishes were spectacular. My only gripe was the lack of salt on the cauliflower, which was an easy fix. I’ve never had pork chops and New York steak taste so tender. I recommend medium cook on each of those. The service was impeccable! I highly recommend this place if you are looking for good food that is not fried southern food or fine dining. This is the perfect medium. Bravo!

We had heard good things about pelican and pig but we were somewhat disappointed. The food was definitely not bad but it took so long between everything we ordered that it was a two hour meal because everything comes out separately. We had steak and the pork chop with a few sides. They food was okay but not worth the money in my opinion. Something else to note is that since everything is cooked over open flame it is VERY hot inside the restaurant.
